Description

This beer roasted chicken with potatoes is a traditional Spanish dish that is always a hit at home. The beer gives the chicken a very special and juicy flavor, while the potatoes are soaked in all the juices and are delicious.   • 1 piece chicken
  • 4 piece potatoes
  • 1 can beer
  • 1 puñado oregano
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 puñado thyme
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 chorro olive oil

Preparation (7 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C with heat from above and below. Meanwhile, chop and clean the chicken. Reserve.

Prepare the potatoes

Peel the potatoes, cut them into quarters and reserve.

Season the chicken and potatoes

In a large bowl, mix the chicken and potatoes with the pepper, oregano, thyme, salt and olive oil. Mix well so that all the ingredients are impregnated.

Pour the beer

Place the chicken and potatoes on a baking tray and pour the can of beer over them.

Bake the chicken

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. During baking, baste the chicken with the sauce.

Turn the chicken over

After 30 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and turn the chicken pieces over. Return to the oven and bake for another 20-30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and the potatoes are tender.

Serve
