Description
These cream squares are a delicious pastry, which is especially popular during the Christmas season. The dough made from flour, butter and sour cream is prepared in the Thermomix® and then chilled. After rolling out, the cookies are cut out in various shapes and baked in the oven. Finally, they are rolled in cinnamon and sugar while still hot. Ideal as finger food or dessert.

360 g Flour

250 g Butter

160 g Sour cream

Cinnamon and sugar for rolling
Preparation (5 steps)
Prepare dough
Add 360 g flour, 250 g butter and 160 g sour cream to the mixing bowl and process for 2 min./kneading stage to form a dough.
Cool dough
Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 3 hours.
Roll out and cut out cookies
Roll out the dough not too thick (similar to puff pastry) and cut out various shapes.
Bake cookies
Place the cut-out cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at approx. 200°C for 10-15 minutes.
Roll cookies
Roll the still hot cookies in a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
