Description

These crispy biscuits with chocolate and walnut are an irresistible delight, perfect for sharing on any occasion. The combination of melted chocolate and the crunchy touch of walnuts creates a unique flavour experience. Preparing them in the Thermomix® is very easy and quick, ideal for those sudden cravings or to surprise your guests. I make them often for Christmas parties and they are always a success. Go ahead and try them, you will love them! You can also vary the amount of walnuts or add other dried fruits to your liking. A recipe that cannot be missing from your repertoire!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 gramos Butter
  • 200 gramos Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 420 gramos Flour
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Ground walnuts

Preparation (6 steps)

Preheat oven and mix butter and sugar

20 sec/keine/Speed 4

Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Place 200 grams of butter and 200 grams of sugar in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 seconds/Stufe 4 until well combined.

Add eggs and vanilla

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/keine/Speed 3

Add 2 units of eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence to the bowl. Mix for 15 seconds/Stufe 3 until well incorporated.

Incorporate flour and baking powder

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/keine/Speed 4

Sift 420 grams of flour with 1 teaspoon of baking powder beforehand. Add the mixture to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 30 seconds/Stufe 4. If the dough is still sticky, knead with your hands.

Add chocolate chips and walnuts

20 sec/keine/Kneading speed

Add 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of ground walnuts to the bowl. Mix with the kneading function for 20 seconds/Knetstufe so that they are evenly distributed.

Form the biscuits

Remove the dough from the bowl. With a spoon, form balls of the desired size and place them on a baking tray previously covered with baking paper. Make sure to leave space between the biscuits.

Bake the biscuits

Bake the biscuits for approximately 12 minutes at 200ºC, or until golden brown. Watch the oven to prevent them from burning.
