Description

Festive spice cookies are a Christmas Thermomix® recipe for approx. 24 cookies. The main ingredients are margarine, sugar, egg, flour and gingerbread spice. Preparation takes about 57 minutes. Ideal as finger food or dessert for the festive season and perfect for the whole family.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 150 g Margarine (at room temperature)
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Stück Egg (size L)
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 Prise Iodised salt
  • 1 TL Gingerbread spice (slightly heaped)
  • 1 Tube brown sugar icing
  • 24 Stück red chocolate lentils
  • Baking paper

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare dough

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (convection: 160 °C). Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Put 150 g of margarine at room temperature, 125 g of sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar into the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec./speed 4.

Add egg

Add 1 egg (size L) and stir in for 15 sec./speed 3.

Mix and add dry ingredients

Add 300 g flour, 1 pinch of iodised salt and 1 tsp of gingerbread spice to the mixing bowl and mix for 30 sec./speed 4.

Knead dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl with floured hands, knead briefly and form into a ball.

Cut out and bake cookies

Roll out the dough in portions on a floured work surface to a thickness of 4-5 mm. Cut out circles with a glass or cookie cutter (Ø approx. 7-9 cm). Bake cookies on baking sheets lined with baking paper in the preheated oven for approx. 12 minutes until they are very lightly browned. Remove from the baking sheet with the baking paper and let cool on a wire rack.

Decorate

According to the instructions on the package, hold the tube of sugar icing under warm running water for a while, then the cream will become smoother. Use sugar icing to paint eyes and antlers on the cookies and stick on the red nose.
