Description

This soft chocolate and brittle cake is a simple delight to make, perfect for a tasty snack or an improvised dessert. I love its melting texture and the subtle crunch of the brittle that contrasts wonderfully with the intensity of the chocolate. This cake is ideal for chocolate lovers and can be prepared in the blink of an eye with the Thermomix®. A real treat for the whole family, especially during cold autumn days or to celebrate a special occasion. Feel free to serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for even more indulgence!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 70 g flour
  • 0.5 packet yeast
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 3 piece eggs
  • 80 g butter
  • 150 g dark chocolate with brittle pieces

Preparation of chocolate and butter

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Place 80g of butter cut into pieces and 150g of dark chocolate with brittle pieces in the Thermomix bowl. Melt everything for 3 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Mixing eggs and sugar

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 3

Add 3 eggs and 70g of brown sugar into the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 2 Min./Stufe 3.

Incorporating flour and yeast

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 2

Add 70g of flour and 1/2 sachet of baking powder into the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently for 20 Sek./Stufe 2. Use the Spatel to help mixing.

Baking in the oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Pour the preparation into a buttered cake tin. Bake for 30 minutes.
