Description

These marinated chicken breasts are a simple and quick delight to prepare. The trick lies in the marinade flavored with olive oil, garlic, paprika and herbes de Provence. I often prepare them for a light dinner or to accompany a fresh salad. The marinade infuses the meat with an incredible flavor, and the hot air cooking makes them tender and juicy. It is a recipe that I love to share, because it is always appreciated and does not require much effort. Perfect for a balanced and tasty meal during the week!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 4 piece chicken breasts
  • 2 c. à s. olive oil
  • 1 c. à c. salt or fine salt
  • 1 c. à s. garlic powder
  • 1 c. à c. paprika (or Mexican spices)
  • 1 c. à c. herbs of Provence
  • 1 tour black pepper mill

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting

In the bowl, pour 2 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of salt or fine salt, 1 tbsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of paprika (or Mexican spices), 1 tsp of herbes de Provence and 1 turn of black pepper mill. Mix.

Marinating the chicken breasts

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 2/Linkslauf Reverse

Put the 4 whole chicken breasts in the bowl containing the marinade. Mix gently with a spatula to coat them well with seasoning.

Rest of the chicken breasts

Let the chicken breasts rest in the bowl for 5 minutes at room temperature so that they are well soaked in the flavors of the marinade.

Draining the chicken breasts

Drain the chicken breasts by placing them in the Varoma.

Steaming

Thermomix® Setting
18 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Pour 500 ml of water into the bowl. Place the Varoma with the drained chicken breasts on the bowl and steam.

Service

Transfer the chicken breasts to a serving plate and enjoy immediately, hot.
