Description

Diese Frischkäse-Bällchen sind ein absoluter Hit für jeden Brunch oder als kleiner Snack zwischendurch! Ich mache sie total gerne, weil sie so einfach und schnell zubereitet sind. Der Teig ist super fix im Thermomix® geknetet und die Füllung aus cremigem Frischkäse macht sie einfach unwiderstehlich. Besonders lecker finde ich die Kombination mit der Bagel-Gewürzmischung, die den Bällchen das gewisse Etwas verleiht. Sie sind warm einfach am besten, aber auch kalt schmecken sie noch super. Probiert es unbedingt mal aus!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese
  • 1 piece large egg
  • 2 tsp half-and-half
  • 2 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease a baking pan.

Teig zubereiten

Add 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4. Add 1 cup Greek yogurt and knead for 2 Min./Knetstufe. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour.

Teig portionieren und formen

Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and press each ball into a flat circle; they should look like mini pizzas.

Bällchen füllen

Scoop 1/2 cup cream cheese into the center of each circle. Fold the edges up and pinch closed so you have a round ball of dough with cream cheese inside. Make sure you seal the edges so the cream cheese doesn't spill out during baking. Place seam side down on the prepared baking pan.

Eiermischung zubereiten

Mix 1 large egg, 2 teaspoons half-and-half, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.

Bällchen bestreichen und würzen

Brush egg wash on top of each dough ball and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning.

Backen

Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with 1 tablespoon melted butter before serving.
