This sour cherry punch is a refreshing drink, ideal for summer parties and festive occasions. The combination of morello cherries, rum, sparkling wine, and Lambrusco provides a fruity and sparkling taste experience. Refined with vanilla, this punch is easy to prepare and can be prepared well in advance. Perfect for those looking for a light and refreshing drink.

1 Flasche Sweet sparkling wine

2 1 Lambrusco

4 EL Sugar

1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar

Preparation (5 steps)
Prepare cherries
Place the morello cherries in a sieve and drain. Collect the juice and set aside. Place the cherries in a punch bowl and cover with rum. Let it steep covered for 12 hours.
Add liquids
Pour the drained cherry juice, sweet sparkling wine, and Lambrusco into the punch bowl with the cherries.
Prepare vanilla
Slit the vanilla bean lengthwise with a knife and scrape out the pulp.
Sweeten and mix
Add the vanilla pulp, sugar, and vanilla sugar to the cherries and liquids in the punch bowl. Stir carefully with a spoon until the sugar has dissolved.
Chill and Serve
Chill the punch well before serving. Serve cold.
