Diese Cherry Swirl Brownies sind ein absoluter Genuss! Die Kombination aus saftigen Brownies und einer cremigen Frischkäsefüllung mit Kirschen ist einfach unwiderstehlich. Ich mache sie besonders gerne für Geburtstage oder andere Feiern, weil sie so einfach zuzubereiten sind und immer gut ankommen. Die leichte Säure der Kirschen harmoniert perfekt mit der Süße der Schokolade. Ein Tipp: Lasst die Brownies vor dem Anschneiden vollständig abkühlen, dann lassen sie sich besser schneiden und die Swirls kommen schön zur Geltung. Sie sind einfach perfekt für jeden Anlass, bei dem man etwas Besonderes servieren möchte!

Ingredients (16 ingredients)

  • 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 piece egg
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.33333333333333 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon black cocoa powder (optional)
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.75 cups morello cherries, drained and chopped

Preparation (7 steps)

Preheat oven and prepare baking pan

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan. Set aside.

Prepare cream cheese filling

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Place cream cheese, white sugar, flour, egg, and vanilla extract into the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 4 until creamy.

Combine dry brownie ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Place white sugar, all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, black cocoa powder (optional), salt, and baking powder into the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 3 to combine. Transfer to a separate bowl.

Combine wet brownie ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 3

Place vegetable oil, eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla extract into the mixing bowl. Mix for 15 Sec./Stufe 3 until well combined.

Combine wet and dry ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Assemble brownies

Spread 3/4 of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Mix 1/4 cup chopped cherries into the batter in the pan. Spread remaining cherries across the top of the brownie batter in one layer. Pour cream cheese filling over the cherries. Spread remaining brownie batter on top of the cream cheese filling. Draw a knife through the batter to create swirls.

Bake the brownies

Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 25 to 27 minutes. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out clean. Let cool completely before slicing.
