Description

These chicken burgers with fresh arugula are a light and tasty alternative to classic beef burgers. The arugula adds a touch of freshness and a slightly spicy flavor that goes perfectly with the chicken meat. Preparing them is very simple and quick, ideal for an informal dinner or a light lunch. I love them especially in the summer, perhaps accompanied by a fresh mixed salad. They can also be prepared in advance and cooked at the moment, perfect for when you have little time but do not want to give up a tasty and healthy dish. Try them, they will win you over!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 250 g Ground chicken
  • 30 g Grated Parmigiano Reggiano
  • 1 pinch Mixed dried herbs
  • 50 g Fresh arugula
  • 1 pinch Fine salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop arugula

Wash the fresh arugula thoroughly and dry it gently. Put the arugula in the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 5. Transfer the chopped arugula to a bowl and set aside.

Prepare burger mixture

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

In the clean bowl, put the ground chicken, grated Parmesan, a pinch of fine salt, a pinch of black pepper and the mixed herbs. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 4.

Add arugula

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3/Linkslauf Reverse

Add the chopped arugula to the mixture in the bowl and mix gently for 10 Sec./Stufe 3/Linkslauf.

Shape burger

Take half of the prepared ground chicken and place it inside the pastry cutter on the parchment paper, cover with a round of parchment paper. Press the mixture well inside the pastry cutter, so as to obtain a compact and regular shape for the burger. Gently remove the pastry cutter and proceed in the same way to create the second burger.

Cook burger

Cook the burgers on a hot grill or in a non-stick pan with a drizzle of oil, until golden brown and cooked through. Do not use the Thermomix to cook the meat.
