Description

This butter almond cake from the Thermomix® is a juicy treat with almonds, butter, eggs and cream. It belongs to the cake category and is ideal for breakfast or as a dessert. The preparation takes a total of 40 minutes, of which 15 minutes are active working time for one portion. Perfect for festive occasions or with coffee.

  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 Pck. Baking powder
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 250 g Cream
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 6 EL Milk
  • 300 g Flaked almonds

Preparation (7 steps)

Mix flour and baking powder

Add 300 g flour and 1 packet of baking powder to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4.

Prepare dough

Add 150 g sugar and 3 eggs and stir for 20 sec/speed 4.

Stir in cream

Add 250 g cream and stir in for 15 sec/speed 3.

Bake dough

Spread the dough on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees convection on the middle shelf for 10 minutes.

Prepare topping

Put 200 g butter in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Complete topping

Add 200 g sugar, 6 tbsp milk and 300 g flaked almonds and stir for 10 sec/speed 3 reverse.

Finish baking cake

Spread the mixture on the cake and finish baking the cake in a further 15 minutes.
