Description

This baked Camembert with figs and nuts is a delicious and simple finger food that is perfect as an appetizer or snack. Preparation with the Thermomix® is straightforward and quick. The dish is vegetarian and offers a Mediterranean touch. Ideal for festive occasions or a cozy evening.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 30 g Nuts (e.g. walnuts and hazelnuts)
  • 2 Stück Figs
  • 1 Zweig Rosemary
  • 1 Zweig Thyme
  • 1 Stück Camembert (in the wooden box)
  • 1 TL Honey

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop nuts

Thermomix® Setting

Place 30 g of nuts (e.g. walnuts and hazelnuts) in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Chop herbs

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 7

Place 1 sprig of rosemary and 1 sprig of thyme in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/speed 7. Transfer and set aside.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top/bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.

Prepare Camembert

Place 1 Camembert in the wooden box on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then remove, score the cheese in a criss-cross pattern and fold down the sides.

Season Camembert

Drizzle the Camembert with 1 tsp of honey and season with the chopped rosemary and thyme.

Finish baking Camembert

Bake the Camembert in the oven again for 5 minutes.

Garnish and serve

Wash and quarter 2 figs and use them together with the chopped nuts to garnish the baked cheese. Serve immediately.
