Description

This caramelized chicken with soy sauce and spices is a tasty and easy dish to prepare with the Thermomix®.   • 1 piece Chicken
  • Liquid honey
  • Soy sauce
  • Four spices
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation of the chicken

Cut the chicken into pieces on a cutting board. Set aside.

Chop the garlic

Put 2 cloves of garlic in the Thermomix bowl and chop them for 3 Sek./Stufe 7.

Cooking the chicken

In a pan, heat 2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and brown them until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Preparation of the sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Add the chopped garlic to the Thermomix bowl, then add 3 tbsp of liquid honey. Mix 5 Sek./Stufe 3.

Adding the soy sauce and spices

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Pour 15 cl of soy sauce into the Thermomix bowl. Add ½ tsp of four spices, salt and pepper. Mix 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Final cooking of the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Put the chicken pieces back into the Thermomix bowl. Cook 25 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Make sure the chicken is well coated in sauce.

Correction of seasoning

Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt if necessary.
