Description

This protein-rich chicken broccoli casserole from the Thermomix® is a quick and gluten-free main course with chicken breast fillet, broccoli and fresh herb cream cheese. Onions and garlic add a spicy note. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 50 minutes, of which 30 minutes are active working time. The recipe is designed for 4 servings and is ideal for light cuisine or as a family meal.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 400 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 1 Kopf Broccoli
  • 2 EL Rapeseed oil
  • 200 ml Chicken stock
  • 200 g Cream cheese with herbs
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 100 g grated Cheese

Preparation

Cut chicken breast fillet into small cubes. Peel onion and garlic. Cut broccoli into florets. Blanch the broccoli florets in a pot with boiling, salted water for 2 minutes. Then quench in ice water and drain. Preheat oven to 180 degrees top and bottom heat.

Chop onion and garlic

3 sec/Speed 5, 3 sec/Speed 7

Put 1 peeled onion into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 1 clove of garlic and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Use the spatula to push everything down from the edge.

Sauté onion and garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Add 2 tbsp rapeseed oil to the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Fry chicken

Fry the diced chicken breast fillet in a separate pan with some rapeseed oil from all sides and then add to the mixing bowl.

Prepare sauce

3 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add 200 ml chicken stock and 200 g cream cheese with herbs to the mixing bowl. Cook for 3 min./100°C/speed 2.

Season sauce and add broccoli

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/122°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 50 Reverse

Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Add the blanched broccoli to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./50°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Bake casserole

Pour the chicken-broccoli mixture into a casserole dish, sprinkle with 100 g grated cheese and bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for 20 minutes.
