  • 50 g red lentils
  • 250 ml vegetable broth
  • 0.5 Stk. onion
  • 0.5 Stk. garlic clove
  • 1 Stk. bell peppers
  • 0.5 Dose kidney beans
  • 0.5 Dose corn
  • 0.5 Dose tomato purée
  • 0.5 Dose diced tomatoes
  • 1 EL tomato paste

Prepare the vegetables

Wash, core, and cut the bell peppers into bite-sized pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Place 0.5 pc. onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/speed 5. Add 0.5 pc. garlic clove and chop for another 3 sec/speed 7.

Sauté the vegetables

Sauté the chopped onion and garlic with a little oil in the mixing bowl for 3 min/120°C/speed 1.

Simmer the chili

20-30 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add 50 g red lentils, 250 ml vegetable broth, 1 pc. bell peppers, 0.5 can kidney beans, 0.5 can corn, 0.5 can tomato purée (à 400g), 0.5 can diced tomatoes (à 400g) and 1 tbsp tomato paste to the mixing bowl. Deglaze with vegetable broth, tomato purée and diced tomatoes, corn and kidney beans. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 20-30 minutes/100°C/speed 1.

Season to taste

Season the chili with salt, pepper, cumin, and paprika powder. Refine with cayenne pepper and chili flakes as desired.
