1000 g firm-cooking potatoes (new potatoes)

3 EL Olive oil

Preparation (4 steps)
Prepare the potatoes
Wash 1 kg of firm-cooking potatoes (new potatoes) and place in the simmering basket. Add 500 ml of water to the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket and cook the potatoes for 15 min./Varoma/speed 1.
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat and line a baking sheet with baking paper. After steaming, carefully remove the potatoes from the simmering basket and let them cool slightly.
Smash and season potatoes
Place the potatoes (with skins) on the prepared baking sheet and flatten them with a potato masher or e.g. the bottom of a bottle. Drizzle 3 tbsp of olive oil over the potatoes and season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika powder.
Bake potatoes
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the potatoes for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
