Description

This flavored baked cauliflower is a simple but flavorful side dish, perfect to accompany your main courses. The combination of sweet paprika, turmeric and dried oregano gives the cauliflower an inviting aroma and a delicious taste. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Cauliflower
  • 2 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 clove Garlic in its skin
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (EVO)

Preparation (5 steps)

Cauliflower into florets

Divide the cauliflower into florets of similar sizes. This ensures even cooking.

Preparation of the marinade

Transfer the cauliflower florets to a large bowl.

Flavoring the cauliflower

Add the sweet paprika, turmeric, dried oregano, the slightly crushed garlic cloves in their skins, the apple cider vinegar, salt, black pepper and a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to the bowl. Mix well to make sure all the florets are well seasoned.

Transfer to the baking dish

Transfer the seasoned cauliflower to a baking dish, making sure the florets are not excessively overlapping. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a preheated static oven at 200°C for about 60 minutes. For the last 20 minutes cover the baking dish with silver foil to prevent the cauliflower from burning.
