Description

These homemade churros are a crispy delight on the outside and tender on the inside, perfect for dipping in hot chocolate! The recipe is very simple and quick to prepare with the Thermomix®. The dough is made in the blink of an eye, and then you just have to fry them until they are golden. Ideal for a special breakfast, a snack with friends or simply to treat yourself. Go ahead and prepare them, you will love them! You can sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor. A classic that never fails!

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 375 ml water at room temperature
  • 0.5 tbsp salt
  • 200 gramos plain flour

Preparation (5 steps)

Heat the water

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Pour 375 ml of water at room temperature into the Thermomix bowl and heat for 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Add flour and salt

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add 200 grams of plain flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the hot water in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4 until a homogeneous dough is obtained.

Prepare the dough for frying

Pour the dough into a churro maker or pastry bag with a star nozzle. Form the churros on a sheet of baking paper or silicone.

Fry the churros

Put plenty of frying oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil is very hot, fry the churros until golden brown on both sides. Remove and place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

Serve

Sprinkle the churros with sugar, cinnamon or cocoa to taste. Serve immediately.
