Description

This peach clafoutis is a simple and delicious summer dessert, perfect for using seasonal peaches. I love the melting texture and the delicate scent of cardamom which goes wonderfully with the sweetness of the peaches. The preparation is quick with the Thermomix®, and the baking in the oven gives a golden and delicious result. Ideal for a Sunday brunch or an improvised dessert, this clafoutis is always a success. You can also use nectarines instead of peaches to vary the pleasures. A real treat!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 500 g peaches
  • 25 cl milk
  • 4 piece eggs
  • 125 g icing sugar or caster sugar
  • 80 g flour
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 1 pinch cardamom

Peach preparation

Peel and pit the peaches. Cut each peach into 6 or 8 slices depending on their size. Set aside.

Melt the butter

Put 60 g of butter in the Thermomix bowl and melt for 3 Min./50°C/Stufe 2. Allow to cool.

Preparation of the clafoutis batter

20 sec/Speed 4

Add 4 eggs, 1 pinch of salt, 125 g of icing sugar or caster sugar, 1 pinch of cardamom, 80 g of flour and 25 cl of milk to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Incorporation of melted butter

Add the melted lukewarm butter and mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Clafoutis assembly

Butter and flour a cake tin. Place the peach slices nicely on the bottom of the mold and pour the clafoutis mixture over it.

Oven baking

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the clafoutis is golden brown and set.
