Description

This yogurt cake is a timeless classic, perfect for afternoon tea or breakfast. Its soft texture and light taste make it a dessert appreciated by all. I often prepare it for children's birthdays, and it always disappears in the blink of an eye! The recipe is simple and quick to make with the Thermomix®, making it ideal for beginner cooks. You can vary the pleasures by adding chocolate chips, fresh fruit or citrus zest. A true delight to share with family or friends!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 200 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 container plain yogurt
  • 15 cl sunflower oil
  • 3 piece eggs
  • 150 g sugar

Preparation of eggs and sugar

Break the 3 eggs into the Thermomix bowl. Add the 150 g of sugar. Program 3 Min./Stufe 4, without temperature, until the mixture whitens and becomes frothy.

Adding oil and yogurt

1 min/Speed 3/keine

Gently add the 15 cl of sunflower oil while mixing 1 Min./Stufe 3/keine. Then add the plain yogurt and mix again 30 Sek./Stufe 3/keine.

Incorporation of flour and yeast

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 2/Linkslauf Reverse

In a salad bowl, mix the 200 g of flour and the sachet of baking powder. Add this mixture in two goes into the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently 30 Sek./Stufe 2/Linkslauf, using the spatula to properly incorporate the flour.

Oven baking

Preheat the oven to 180°C (Th.6). Butter and flour a cake tin. Pour the dough into the tin. Bake in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Check cooking with a wooden skewer that should come out perfectly dry.
