Description
This classic Mousse au Chocolat is a simple but refined dessert that is perfect for festive occasions. With just a few ingredients like bittersweet chocolate, butter and eggs, this dessert is easy to prepare. Preparation takes about 20 minutes, but the cooling time is at least 2 hours. The recipe is designed for 6 servings and is ideal for chocolate lovers.

200 g Bittersweet chocolate

100 g Butter

4 Stück Eggs

1 Prise Salt
Preparation (6 steps)
Chop chocolate
Break the bittersweet chocolate into pieces and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 10 sec/level 8.
Melt chocolate
Leave the chopped chocolate in the mixing bowl. Add the butter in pieces and melt for 3 min/50°C/level 2.
Add egg yolks
Add the egg yolks to the melted chocolate and stir for 20 sec/level 3.
Beat egg whites
Beat the egg whites with the salt in a separate bowl until stiff.
Fold in egg whites
Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the chocolate mixture. Not in the Thermomix.
Refrigerate
Pour the Mousse au Chocolat into glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
