Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup lightly packed chopped cilantro
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 3.5 pounds chicken thighs

Prepare the marinade

Thermomix® Setting

Add 1 cup full-fat plain Greek yogurt, 1 cup lightly packed chopped cilantro, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 teaspoons kosher salt, 1 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, and 1 teaspoon ground black pepper to the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 until well combined.

Marinate the chicken

Place 3 ½ pounds chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag; cover with the yogurt mixture. Ensure the chicken is fully coated. Let chicken marinate in the refrigerator for 3 to 8 hours.

Prepare for grilling

Bring chicken to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Pour off the marinade.

Grill the chicken

Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate. Grill chicken, turning occasionally, until grill marks form, about 5 minutes per side. Ensure the chicken is cooked through.
