Description

This filled turkey cutlet Napolitana is a hearty main course with Italian flavors. The cutlets are topped with tomato sauce, cooked ham and mozzarella and baked in the oven. The recipe is for 4 servings and is ideal for a festive dinner or a cozy lunch with the family.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 250 g Tomatoes
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 Stück Clove of garlic
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 50 ml Broth
  • 4 Stück Turkey cutlet
  • 125 g Mozzarella
  • 1 Scheibe Cooked ham
  • 4 EL Flour
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 4 EL Breadcrumbs
  • 2 EL Oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare tomato sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Roughly dice 250 g tomatoes. Finely dice 1 onion and 1 clove of garlic. Put everything in the mixing bowl and add 2 tbsp of oil. Chop for 3 sec./level 5. Then sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Simmer tomato sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add 50 ml broth to the mixing bowl and simmer for 10 min./100°C/level 1. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare cutlets

Salt and pepper 4 turkey cutlets (approx. 125 g each).

Prepare breading

Put 4 tbsp flour, 1 whisked egg and 4 tbsp breadcrumbs each into separate bowls.

Bread cutlets

Turn the 4 turkey cutlets one after the other in 4 tbsp flour, 1 whisked egg and 4 tbsp breadcrumbs.

Fry cutlets

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a separate pan and fry the breaded cutlets in it for about 5 minutes on each side.

Top and bake cutlets

Place the fried cutlets in an ovenproof pan. Cut 125 g mozzarella into slices. Remove the pan from the stove. Spread the tomato sauce on the cutlets, top with 1 slice of cooked ham and ¼ mozzarella each. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C) for about 10 minutes.

Serve

Serve the baked turkey cutlets with green salad and cherry tomatoes.
