Description

These chicken cutlets are a delicious and lighter alternative to the classic fried cutlet. The crispy breading, enriched with paprika, garlic and parsley, makes the chicken breast tender and flavorful. I often prepare them for a quick lunch or an informal dinner. They are perfect accompanied by a fresh seasonal salad and tomatoes. The preparation is simple and quick, ideal for those who have little time but do not want to give up taste. A tip? Try adding a pinch of chili pepper to the breading for an extra touch! Also great for children.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 4 slice chicken breast
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • sweet paprika
  • garlic powder
  • chopped parsley
  • pepper
  • fine salt
  • olive oil for cooking
  • green salad
  • tomatoes

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of the breading

In a dish, whisk 2 eggs with a pinch of fine salt. Set aside.

Flavoring the breadcrumbs

In another dish, put 100 g of breadcrumbs. Add sweet paprika as needed, garlic powder as needed, chopped parsley as needed, pepper as needed and fine salt as needed. Mix well to blend all the aromas. Transfer the flavored breadcrumbs to a large bowl.

Breading the chicken

Dip each slice of chicken breast (4 slices) first in the beaten egg and then in the flavored breadcrumbs, pressing well with your hands to make the breading adhere on both sides.

Cooking in an air fryer

Arrange the breaded slices in the air fryer basket and spray a little spray olive oil on top. Cook at 180°C for 12 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking and spraying another little spray oil to make them golden brown and crispy.

Side dish preparation

While the chicken is cooking, prepare a bed of green salad as needed and tomatoes as needed, sliced.

Serve

Once ready, serve the chicken breast on a bed of salad and fresh tomatoes.
