Description

With the Thermomix® classic vanilla crescents made from flour, butter, almonds and sugar succeed in no time. This recipe for Christmas cookies is ideal for preparation with the WunderSlicer V2 or the Patix. In 90 minutes, delicious crescents for about 4 servings are created. Perfect for festive occasions and as a sweet treat with coffee.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 280 g Flour
  • 210 g Butter
  • 100 g Peeled almonds, finely ground
  • 70 g Fine crystal sugar
  • 10 EL Icing sugar
  • 3 Päckchen Vanilla sugar

Preparation (8 steps)

Sift flour and prepare ingredients

Sift flour onto a baking board. Add butter in small pieces. Grind almonds finely, if not already done. Prepare crystal sugar and icing sugar.

Prepare dough

Put flour, butter, ground almonds, crystal sugar, icing sugar and vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl. Insert Patix dough knife.

Knead dough

Thermomix® Setting

Knead all ingredients for 2 min./kneading stage to a dough.

Cool dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Form crescents

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and form into a roll. Cut off slices from it, bend into crescents (small horns) and trim.

Bake crescents

Place crescents on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven at 175°C for about 15 minutes.

Prepare sugar

In the meantime, mix icing sugar and vanilla sugar and sift onto a large serving plate.

Sugar crescents

Place the still warm crescents in the sugar bed, cover completely and let them cool in it.
