Description

This risotto with prawns and peas is a comforting and tasty dish, perfect for a family dinner or with friends. I love the combination of the sweetness of the peas with the delicate taste of the prawns. A little curry and saffron bring an exotic and warm touch. This risotto is wonderfully creamy and is easily prepared with the Thermomix®. It is ideal for using spring vegetables and bringing a touch of color to your plate. Feel free to add a little grated parmesan for even more indulgence! A real delight!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Curry
  • 1 tbsp Saffron
  • 1 tbsp Salt or fine salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 0.75 l Oil
  • 150 g Peas
  • 100 g Peeled prawns
  • 40 g Onions
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 300 g Rice

Preparation (7 steps)

Chopped onions

Put 40 g of onions in the Thermomix bowl and finely chop for 3 Sek./Stufe 5.

Add a dash of oil to the Thermomix bowl and sauté the chopped onions for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add 150 g of peas to the Thermomix bowl and cook for 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Add the rice and spices

Add 300 g of rice, curry, paprika and saffron to the Thermomix bowl and toast for 1 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the risotto

Gradually moisten with ¾ l of hot water in the Thermomix bowl and cook for 14 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Add the prawns and pepper

Add 100 g of peeled prawns and 1 red pepper cut into small dice, salt and pepper to the Thermomix bowl and cook for 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Turn off the Thermomix and work the risotto with a dash of oil for 10 Sek./Stufe 1/Linkslauf.
