Description

These vanilla crêpes are a real delight! I often prepare them for Sunday brunch or for a quick and delicious dessert. The dough is simple to make and the Thermomix® greatly facilitates the process. The secret lies in resting the dough, which allows you to obtain light and lump-free crêpes. They are perfect plain, sprinkled with sugar, or garnished with jam, melted chocolate or fresh fruit. A real treat for the whole family! Vanilla brings a touch of sweetness and irresistible fragrance. Feel free to vary the pleasures by adding a little rum or orange blossom to the dough.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 cl milk
  • 4 oeufs eggs
  • 250 g flour

Preparation of the dough

Pour 250 g of flour, 4 eggs, 50 cl of milk, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt into the Thermomix bowl.

Final mixing

Mix the dough to make sure there are no lumps. If necessary, scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula and mix again.

Addition of melted butter

Thermomix® Setting

Melt 50 g of butter in the microwave or in a saucepan. Add the melted butter to the dough in the Thermomix bowl.

Resting the dough

Pour the dough into a container and let it rest at room temperature for at least 1 hour. This allows the dough to homogenize and obtain lighter crêpes.

Cooking the crêpes

Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, lightly grease the pan with a little butter. Pour half a ladle of batter into the pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, until the crêpe is golden brown.
