Description

With the Thermomix®, fine pancakes are made in no time at all. This simple recipe requires wheat flour, milk, eggs and mineral water. Preparation takes about 30 minutes and yields 6 servings. Ideal as a quick breakfast, delicious dessert or inexpensive main course for the whole family. The recipe is vegetarian.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 150 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 250 ml Whole milk
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 1 EL Mineral water
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 5 TL Vegetable oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Put 150 g wheat flour type 405 (or spelt flour type 630), 1 pinch of salt and 250 ml whole milk (3.5% or 3.8% fat) into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./level 4 until no more lumps are present. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula and repeat.

Add eggs and mineral water

Add 3 eggs (size M or L) and 1 tbsp mineral water (Classic) to the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 sec./level 3 until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Let the dough rest

Transfer the pancake batter to a bowl and let it rest covered in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.

Bake pancakes

Heat a coated pan over medium to high heat. Add 1 tsp vegetable oil (sunflower oil or rapeseed oil) to the hot pan. Pour a ladle of batter (approx. 100-125 ml) into the pan and spread by swirling.

Turn the pancake

Bake the pancake for about 1 minute until the surface is no longer liquid. Turn with a spatula and bake for another 30 seconds.

Keep pancakes warm

Remove the finished pancake from the pan and keep warm on a plate in the oven at 60 °C. Add some more oil to the pan for each additional pancake.
