Description

These crispy chicken wings are real comfort food! I often prepare them for an informal dinner with friends or for a Sunday lunch with family. The secret lies in the aromatic breading, enriched with fresh herbs and a pinch of chili pepper. The potatoes, cooked together with the wings, absorb all the flavors and become irresistible. The preparation is simple and quick, especially with the help of our trusted Thermomix®. Perfect for those who love strong flavors and crunchiness! A dish that everyone agrees on, young and old.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 1 bunch Fresh oregano
  • 1 bunch Thyme
  • 1 bunch Rosemary
  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 1 q.b. Breadcrumbs
  • 1 q.b. Chili powder
  • 1 q.b. Black pepper
  • 1 q.b. Salt
  • 1 q.b. Ginger powder
  • 1 q.b. Flour
  • 1 q.b. Chicken wings
  • 4 piece Potatoes
  • 1 q.b. Extra virgin olive oil (EVO)

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop the aromatic herbs

Thermomix® Setting

Insert the fresh oregano, thyme, rosemary and parsley into the bowl. Chop for 5 Sec./Stufe 7.

Prepare the breading

Transfer the chopped herbs to a bowl. Add the breadcrumbs, chili powder, ginger powder, salt and black pepper. Mix well with a spoon. Set aside.

Beat the eggs

In another bowl, crack the eggs and beat them with a fork. If desired, add a dash of water to make them more liquid.

Flour the chicken wings

Pour the flour onto a plate and flour the chicken wings one by one.

Bread the chicken wings

Dip the chicken wings first in the beaten egg, then in the flavored breadcrumbs. As you bread them, arrange them on a baking sheet.

Cut the potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 2 cm pieces per side, cutting them first in half or in 3, based on the size of the potato, then again in half and then into pieces.

Bread the potatoes

Collect the potatoes and bread them with the breadcrumbs left over from breading the chicken. Put the potatoes on the baking sheet as well.

Season and bake in the oven

Season the chicken wings and potatoes with extra virgin olive oil. Bake in a preheated fan oven at 220°C for 45-50 minutes.
