Description

These coconut crescents from the Thermomix® are a delicious dessert and are perfect for the Christmas season. The main ingredients are desiccated coconut, nuts, chocolate, eggs and butter. Preparation takes about 75 minutes and yields a larger amount of cookies. Ideal as festive finger food or with coffee.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

3 piece Eggs
200 g Icing sugar
3 Rippen Soft chocolate
90 g Melted butter
100 g Nuts
150 g Desiccated coconut
80 g Flour
Redcurrant jam
Chocolate

Preparation (5 steps)

Mix eggs, icing sugar and chocolate until frothy

Thermomix® Setting

3 min/Speed 4

Put 3 eggs, 200 g icing sugar and 3 ribs of soft chocolate into the mixing bowl and mix for 3 min./speed 4 until frothy.

Add remaining ingredients and fold in

Add 90 g melted butter, 100 g nuts, 150 g desiccated coconut and 80 g flour to the mixing bowl and fold in for 20 sec./speed 3 in reverse.

Let the dough rest

Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 1/2 hour so that it becomes a little firmer.

Bake crescents

Fill the dough into a piping bag and pipe crescents onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven at approx. 180 degrees hot air in the middle of the oven for approx. 10 min.
