Description

This fruity pomegranate fruit leather is a delicious, healthy snack for young and old! I especially like to make it in the summer when the fruits are in season. The combination of mango and raspberry is simply unbeatable, and the pomegranate provides a slightly tart note. Preparation is super easy and the Thermomix® makes pureeing a breeze. Perfect for a quick snack or as a sweet treat at parties. The fruit leather is vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free - so suitable for almost everyone! It can also be prepared well and rolled up in strips.

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 500 g Mango in cubes (frozen)
  • 500 g Raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 piece Pomegranate

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare fruits

Let the frozen mango and raspberry cubes thaw. Line two deep baking trays with baking paper or cling film, so that the paper or film protrudes a little at the edge.

Puree mango

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 10

Put the thawed mango cubes into the mixing bowl and puree finely for 30 sec./speed 10. Spread the pureed mango mixture on one of the prepared baking trays to a height of approx. 0.3 cm.

Puree raspberries

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 10

Put the thawed raspberries into the mixing bowl and puree finely for 30 sec./speed 10. Spread the pureed raspberry mixture on the other prepared baking tray to a height of approx. 0.3 cm.

Dry fruit leather

Place the baking trays with the fruit mixture in the oven preheated to 80 °C (fan oven) and leave to dry for approx. 6 hours. If the fruit leather is not dry after baking, let it dry for another 30–60 minutes.

Cut and serve fruit leather

Cut the dried fruit leather into 5 strips each and roll up. Knock out the pomegranate and serve the seeds in a small bowl. Enjoy the fruit leather with pomegranate seeds.
