Description

This date dip with curry and cream cheese is prepared in the Thermomix® in just 10 minutes. The main ingredients are cream cheese, dates, yogurt and curry powder. The recipe yields 4 servings and is ideal as a vegetarian dip for parties or as a quick snack. It is suitable as finger food or appetizer and is particularly easy and quick to prepare.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 300 g Cream Cheese
  • 150 g Dates, pitted
  • 150 g Greek Yogurt, 10% fat
  • 3 TL Curry Powder
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 Msp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 TL Lime Juice
  • 1 Prise Black Pepper from the Mill

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop Dates

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Add 150 g pitted dates to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Puree Dates

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 5

Add 150 g Greek yogurt and the chopped dates to the mixing bowl and puree for 2 min./speed 5. If the mixture is still too lumpy, puree for another 1-2 minutes. In the meantime, use the spatula to scrape down the sides of the mixing bowl.

Mix Ingredients

30 sec/Speed 3

Add 300 g cream cheese, 3 tsp curry powder, 1 tsp salt, 1 pinch cayenne pepper, 1 tsp lime juice and some black pepper from the mill to the dates in the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec./speed 3.

Transfer the dip to a bowl and garnish with some curry powder and whole dates.
