Description

This hearty Farmer's Pot is a savory main course with pork goulash, potatoes, carrots, and bell peppers. Preparation in the Thermomix® saves time and effort. Ideal for the cold season, it warms from the inside and is perfect for a filling lunch or dinner. The recipe is designed for 6 servings and can be prepared well in advance.

Ingredients (18 ingredients)

  • 500 g Pork goulash
  • 250 g Onions
  • 250 g Bell peppers
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 250 g Carrots
  • 1 Dose Peas and carrots (850 ml)
  • 1 Dose Mushrooms (425 ml)
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 40 g Oil
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 1 TL Granulated broth
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Marjoram
  • 0.5 TL Thyme
  • 1 Stück Bay leaf
  • 200 ml Water

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onions

Place 250g onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onions

Add 40g oil to the chopped 250g onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add bell peppers and garlic

Place 250g bell peppers in pieces and 2 cloves garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5.

Add potatoes and carrots

Add 500g potatoes and 250g carrots in pieces to the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4.

Sear meat

Sear 500g pork goulash in a separate pan with some oil until it has taken on color.

Add remaining ingredients and cook

Add the seared 500g pork goulash, 1 can (850 ml) peas and carrots, 1 can (425 ml) mushrooms, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp granulated broth, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp marjoram, 1/2 tsp thyme, 1 bay leaf and 200 ml water to the chopped ingredients in the mixing bowl and cook for 25 min./100°C/Reverse rotation speed 1. Leave the measuring cup on.

Season and serve

After the cooking time has elapsed, remove the bay leaf and season the Farmer's Pot with salt, pepper and possibly some paprika powder. Then serve.
