Description

With this Thermomix® recipe, you can easily make fine shortbread biscuits from flour, sugar, butter and egg in no time at all. The preparation of the biscuit dough takes about one hour, the total time including cooling and baking is about 135 minutes. The recipe yields one portion and is ideal for the Christmas coffee table or as a sweet dessert. The category is Biscuits.

  • 500 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 2 Prisen Salt
  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Margarine
  • 0.5 Pck. Baking powder
  • 2 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg (size M)
  • 1 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 150 g Bittersweet chocolate coating

Mix ingredients

Put 500g wheat flour type 405, 250g sugar, 2 pinches of salt, 125g butter, 125g margarine, 0.5 pack baking powder, 2 packs vanilla sugar, 1 egg (size M) and 1 egg yolk (size M) into the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading stage.

Cool dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, form into a ball and wrap in cling film. Leave to rest in the fridge for 1 hour.

Shape shortbread

Pass the dough through a meat grinder with a shortbread attachment and form any biscuits you like. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake

Thermomix® Setting
10-15 min/356°F/Ober-/Unterhitze 356°F

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat on the second shelf from the bottom for approx. 10 - 15 minutes.
