Description

These delicious filled puff pastries are perfect for a tasty appetizer or a Sunday brunch. The flaky puff pastry encloses a creamy and flavorful filling, enriched with fresh chives and a touch of grated cheese. The preparation is simple and quick, ideal for those who have little time but do not want to give up the taste. I love them because they are versatile and can be customized with different fillings.   • 1 rotolo rectangular puff pastry
  • butter
  • 1 uova eggs
  • red food coloring
  • 300 g creamy fresh cheese
  • 2 cucchiaini grated cheese
  • chives
  • olive oil
  • pepper
  • fine salt
  • parsley

Preparation of the puff pastry

Unroll 1 roll of rectangular puff pastry on a work surface and divide it into 12 squares by cutting it with a knife. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.

Preparation of the molds

Lightly butter a 12 muffin tin with butter as needed. Place the 12 squares of pastry inside, making them adhere to the cavities of the mold. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.

Prick the puff pastry

With a fork, prick the puff pastry lightly to prevent it from swelling too much during cooking. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.

Baking in the oven

Bake and cook in a ventilated oven at 190 °C for 15 minutes. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.

Preparation of the filling

Put 300 g of creamy fresh cheese, 2 teaspoons of grated cheese, chives to taste, chopped, olive oil to taste, pepper to taste and fine salt to taste in the Thermomix bowl.

Mix the filling

Mix the ingredients for the filling: 20 Sec./Stufe 4. Check the consistency and, if necessary, mix for a few more seconds.

Cooling of the baskets

Once cooked, take the baskets out of the oven and let them cool slightly, then place them on a tray. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.

Filling the baskets

Proceed to the filling: fill each basket with about two teaspoons of cream. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.

Final decoration

Garnish with parsley to taste in tufts. Add red food coloring to taste for a touch of color. No Thermomix setting is required in this step.
