Description

This chocolate cake with cookies is a delicious and easy-to-prepare dessert, perfect for a snack or a birthday party. The combination of chocolate cream and classic cookies creates a contrast of textures and flavors that everyone will love. I often prepare it when I have unexpected guests, because it is quick and does not require baking in the oven. A tip: for a more intense flavor, you can add a pinch of coffee powder to the chocolate cream. Ideal to enjoy cold!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 piece eggs
  • 160 g sugar
  • 140 g flour
  • 1 l milk
  • 70 g bitter cocoa
  • 250 g Cookies
  • coffee
  • 100 ml sweetened whipped cream

Preparation (6 steps)

Heated milk

5 min/194°F/Speed 1 90

Pour 1 liter of milk into the bowl and heat for 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 1. At the end, transfer the milk to a saucepan and set aside.

Whipped eggs and sugar

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 4

Insert 4 eggs and 160 g of sugar into the bowl. Whip for 30 Sek./Stufe 4.

Flour added

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 140 g of flour to the bowl and mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 3.

Chocolate cream

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Pour the hot milk from the saucepan into the bowl. Cook for 8 Min./90°C/Stufe 2. At the end, add 70 g of bitter cocoa and mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 3.

Cake assembly

In a rectangular baking dish of 27×19 cm, arrange a first layer of 250 g of cookies slightly soaked in coffee. Pour over a third of the chocolate cream and level with a spatula. Make a second layer of cookies soaked in coffee and then cover with another third of chocolate cream. Complete with a third layer of soaked cookies and pour over the remaining cream, leveling the surface well.

Final decoration

Arrange another 10 cookies on the surface in two adjacent rows. Finally, decorate with 100 ml of sweetened whipped cream along the edges and in the center. Put the cake in the refrigerator to rest for at least 30 minutes before serving.
