Description

A quick and easy chickpea curry, perfect for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients (18 ingredients)

  • 1 Zwiebel Onion
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 2 Möhren Carrots
  • 100 g Celery
  • 2 EL Curry paste
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 1 TL Curry powder
  • 1 TL Garam Masala
  • 0.5 TL Cumin, ground
  • 0.5 TL Turmeric, ground
  • 0.5 Messerspitze Chili powder
  • 400 g Chickpeas (drained weight)
  • 400 g Chopped tomatoes
  • 400 ml Coconut milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lemon juice

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onions and garlic

Peel and halve the onions. Peel the garlic cloves. Put both in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Prepare and chop vegetables

Peel the carrots and cut into pieces. Clean the celery and cut into pieces. Put both in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 4.

Add curry paste, tomato paste and spices

Add curry paste, tomato paste, curry powder, Garam Masala, cumin, turmeric and chili powder and sauté for 1 min./100°C/speed 1 with reverse rotation.

Add chickpeas, chopped tomatoes and coconut milk and simmer for 15 min./100°C/speed 1 with reverse rotation.
