Description

This Thermomix® recipe for chicken fricassee with bell pepper cream sauce is a hearty main course with turkey cutlets or chicken breast fillet, bell peppers, onions, and crème fraîche. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes a total of 35 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for a quick and inexpensive family meal. The dish is warm and satisfying.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 600 g Turkey cutlets or chicken breast fillet
  • 2 Stück Red bell peppers
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 1 Stück Onion, medium
  • 200 ml Chicken stock
  • 100 g Crème Fraîche
  • 50 g Ajvar (spicy bell pepper paste)
  • 2 EL Fresh thyme leaves
  • 3 EL Vegetable oil
  • 2 TL Sweet paprika
  • 1 TL Salt

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Wash the bell peppers, halve, core, and cut into strips. Peel the onion, halve, and place in the mixing bowl. Peel the garlic cloves and add them to the mixing bowl as well.

Chop onion and garlic

Chop the onion and garlic 3 sec./speed 5. Use the spatula to scrape everything down from the side.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil and sauté 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add bell peppers and thyme

Add the bell pepper strips, 1-2 tbsp thyme leaves and 50 g Ajvar to the mixing bowl and sauté 5 min./100°C/speed 1. Use the spatula to scrape everything down from the side.

Prepare sauce

Add 200 ml chicken stock and 100 g crème fraîche and simmer 5 min./90°C/speed 1.

Fry meat

Cut the meat into strips or cubes, season with 1 tsp salt and 1-2 tsp paprika. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large pan and fry the meat in it over medium to high heat until golden brown. Remove from the pan and keep warm.

Add meat and season

Add the fried meat to the mixing bowl and heat 2 min./90°C/Reverse speed 1. Season with salt, paprika and Ajvar.
