Description

These four cheese empanadas are a real treat for cheese lovers. The combination of mozzarella, cream cheese, grated cheese and blue cheese creates an explosion of flavor in every bite. Preparing them is very simple, especially with the help of our Thermomix®. I often make them for parties or as a tasty snack. The key is to use good quality cheeses and not overdo it with the filling so that they do not open when baking. Go ahead and try them, you will love them! They are perfect for an informal dinner or to surprise your guests with a delicious and original snack. In addition, you can vary the cheeses according to your preferences.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 100 gramos mozzarella cheese
  • 100 gramos cream cheese
  • 30 gramos grated cheese
  • 50 gramos blue cheese
  • 1 cucharada sopera oregano
  • 6 tapas for empanada
  • 1 cucharada sopera flour

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the cheeses

Cut 100 grams of mozzarella cheese, 100 grams of cream cheese and 50 grams of blue cheese into small cubes. Reserve.

Grate the cheese

Put 30 grams of grated cheese into the Thermomix bowl and grate for 5 Sec./Stufe 7. Remove and reserve.

Mix the cheeses

In a bowl, mix the cubed cheeses with the grated cheese. Add 1 tablespoon of oregano and 1 tablespoon of flour. Mix well so that the flour is evenly distributed.

Fill the empanadas

Fill each of the 6 empanada wrappers with the cheese mixture, lightly moistening the edge of one of its sides. Close the empanadas by joining the two points forward, making sure that there is no air inside.

Bake the empanadas

Preheat the oven to 200-220 ºC. Place the empanadas on a previously greased baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
