Description

Stuffed veal cutlets are a hearty main course filled with cheese and ham and then breaded. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 35 minutes and yields 2 servings. The main ingredients are veal cutlets, cheese, ham, egg and breadcrumbs. The dish is well suited for a filling family meal or as a high-protein meal.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Veal cutlet
  • 2 Scheiben Cheese (e.g. Gouda or Emmental)
  • 2 Scheiben Cooked ham
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 3 EL Flour
  • 60 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 1 Prise Pepper
  • 1 EL Rapeseed oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare veal cutlets

Cover veal cutlets with cling film and flatten (to about 0.5 cm thick).

Fill and season cutlets

Fold cheese slice small and wrap in the slice of ham, then place on the cutlet and fold in all sides. Season cutlet with salt and pepper.

Prepare breading station

Place flour and breadcrumbs each on flat plates. Whisk egg on a deep plate.

Bread the cutlets

First turn the meat packages in the flour, then pull through the egg and then turn in the breadcrumbs.

Fry the cordon bleus

Heat 1 tbsp rapeseed oil in a pan and fry the cordon bleus from both sides until golden brown.

Finish baking the cordon bleus

Place the fried cordon bleus in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 12-15 minutes until cooked and golden brown.
