Description
These fruit stars are a delicious pastry, ideal for the Christmas season. The shortcrust pastry is refined with a delicious filling of almonds, rusk crumbs, strawberry jam and white chocolate. After baking, the stars are coated with chocolate or icing sugar glaze. Preparation takes about 90 minutes and is a nice recipe for festive occasions.

300 g Flour

200 g Butter

100 g Sugar

1 Stück Eggs

1 TL Lemon zest

Almonds

Grated rusk crumbs

Strawberry jam

White chocolate

Colored chocolate or icing sugar glaze
Preparation (4 steps)
Prepare shortcrust pastry
Put flour, butter, sugar, eggs and lemon zest into the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 min./kneading level.
Prepare filling
Put almonds, grated rusk crumbs, strawberry jam and white chocolate into the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./speed 4.
Shape and bake fruit stars
Cut out stars from the shortcrust pastry, spread with the filling and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approx. 12-15 minutes.
Glaze
Glaze the cooled fruit stars with colored chocolate or icing sugar glaze.
