Description

This chicken and pineapple curry is a real treat and is on the table in just 35 minutes! I really like to make it when I need something quick, but still something special. The combination of tender chicken, sweet pineapple and creamy curry is simply unbeatable. The dish is perfect for those who like it exotic and are looking for a quick, tasty meal. Served with rice, it is a complete dish that is guaranteed to please everyone. Try it, you will be thrilled!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 250 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 340 g Pineapple pieces (canned)
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 100 g Cream cheese spread
  • 2 piece Spring onions
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tsp Curry powder
  • 1 tsp Chicken broth powder
  • 2 Beutel Rice à 125 g
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili powder

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare rice

Prepare the rice according to the package instructions. In the meantime, continue with the curry.

Prepare spring onions and garlic

Cut the spring onions into rings and peel the garlic.

Chop garlic

Put the garlic cloves in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 7. Push down with the spatula.

Prepare curry

Skin, wash and cut the chicken breast fillet or turkey breast into pieces the size of dice. Fry in a pan with a little oil. When it gets a little color, add the honey. Add the spring onions cut into rings and the chopped garlic and sauté briefly. Drain the pineapple and collect the juice, then add the pineapple pieces to the pan and sauté briefly as well. Add the curry and roast everything briefly.

Finish curry

Put the cream, the cream cheese spread in pieces, salt, pepper, curry powder, chicken broth powder or vegetable broth powder, a little ground chili powder and the pineapple juice in the mixing bowl and simmer for 5 min./100°C/level 2.

Season and Serve

Season the curry with salt, pepper, curry powder, chicken broth powder or vegetable broth powder, a little ground chili powder and the pineapple juice and serve on the rice.
