Description

This chicken and shrimp curry is an exotic and tasty dish, perfect for a dinner with friends or a family meal. I love the combination of the spicy flavors of curry, turmeric, and fresh ginger with the sweetness of tomatoes and the freshness of cilantro and mint. Preparation is quite quick, about 45 minutes, and the result is a protein-rich and flavorful dish. Peanut chutney adds a crunchy and slightly sweet touch that goes perfectly with the curry.   • 250 g Peeled shrimp
  • 250 g Chicken breast
  • 10 feuilles Mint
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 3 g Turmeric
  • 5 g Curry
  • 5 g Fresh ginger
  • 1 piece Small fresh chili
  • 350 quartier(s) Peeled tomatoes
  • 12 feuilles Fresh cilantro
  • 0.25 botte(s) Chives
  • 3 c. à soupe Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 250 g Peanuts
  • 3 piece Chili pepper
  • 15 feuilles Fresh mint
  • 2 gousse(s) Garlic

Preparation of chicken and shrimp

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Do the same with the peeled shrimp. Season the chicken and shrimp with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Preparation of the curry base

Put the onion cut into quarters in the Thermomix bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Add the olive oil and sauté 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Preparation of peanut chutney

Put the peanuts, red chilies, fresh mint leaves, garlic and peanut oil in the Thermomix bowl. Mix 30 Sek./Stufe 8 until a smooth purée is obtained. Salt, pepper and mix.
