Description

This festive drinking chocolate with marshmallows is a quick dessert drink from the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are milk, cream, white chocolate, and mini marshmallows. In just 15 minutes, 2 servings of the Christmas drink are created. Ideal for the cold season and as a sweet treat for young and old. Perfect for cozy winter evenings.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

400 ml Milk
200 ml Cream (35% fat)
80 g White chocolate
Red food coloring
8 White mini marshmallows
20 g Candy canes

Preparation (5 steps)

Heat milk and cream

Add 400 ml milk and 100 ml cream (35% fat) to the mixing bowl and heat for 5 min./90°C/speed 2.

Melt chocolate

2 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Add 80 g white chocolate in pieces and melt for 2 min./50°C/speed 2. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge and repeat the process until the chocolate is completely melted.

Coloring

Add red food coloring as needed and mix for 10 sec./speed 3 until the desired color is achieved.

Whip cream until stiff

Clean the mixing bowl and insert the butterfly. Add 100 ml cream (35% fat) to the mixing bowl and whip for 2 min./speed 3.5 until stiff. Fill the whipped cream into a piping bag with a star nozzle.

Arrange

Pour the hot chocolate into two glasses. Squirt the whipped cream onto the chocolate. Sprinkle 8 white mini marshmallows and 20 g crushed candy canes on the cream. Alternatively, leave the candy canes whole and hang them on the edge of the glass. Insert a straw and serve immediately.
