Description

These festive butter cookies are a real eye-catcher on every Christmas plate! I bake them every year with my children, and they love to decorate the little reindeer faces with chocolate decor. The dough is super easy to prepare in the Thermomix® and is wonderful to roll out. The red noses made of sweets make the cookies particularly cute. These cookies are not only delicious, but also a great baking experience for the whole family. Perfect for the Advent season!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 125 g Butter
  • 250 g Flour - Wheat flour Type 05
  • 80 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Ei Egg
  • 1 Pck. Sweets - including the red ones
  • 1 Stift Chocolate Decorating Pen

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 125g butter, 250g wheat flour type 05, 80g sugar, 1 pack of vanilla sugar and 1 egg into the mixing bowl and process for 2 min./kneading stage to a smooth dough.

Cool dough

Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Cut out cookies

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees top / bottom heat. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out circles with a glass or a round shape. Place the dough circles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake cookies

Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for approx. 13-15 minutes until they are light golden brown. Then let them cool down.

Decorate cookies

Decorate each cookie with a face with a chocolate decorating pen and stick with red sweets as a nose.
