Description

This Thermomix® recipe for pork fillet with Gorgonzola sauce and tortellini is a hearty main course with Italian flair. The main ingredients are pork fillet, Gorgonzola, tortellini from the refrigerated section, as well as peas and carrots. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes a total of 55 minutes, of which 30 minutes are active work time. The recipe is designed for 4 servings and is ideal for a festive family meal.

  • 600 g Pork fillet
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 TL dried Herbs of Provence
  • 800 g Tortellini (chilled section)
  • 400 g Peas and carrots (frozen)
  • 1 Stück Onion, halved
  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 1 EL Oil
  • 40 g dry White wine
  • 200 g Gorgonzola, in pieces
  • 200 g Cream
  • Thyme for garnish

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare pork fillet

Place the pork fillet on the insert and season all around with 2 pinches of salt and pepper each, and 1 teaspoon of herbs.

Steam tortellini

Put 500 g water into the mixing bowl. Place the stirring attachment in the Varoma and spread the 800 g tortellini on it, briefly moistening them under running water. Insert insert with pork fillet into the Varoma, close and steam for 15 min. | Varoma® | level 2.

Steam peas and carrots

Meanwhile, put the 400 g peas and carrots in the simmering basket. After the time has elapsed, remove the Varoma, insert the simmering basket, put the Varoma back on, and cook everything for another 15 min. | Varoma® | level 2. Then carefully remove the Varoma, set aside and keep warm. Empty the mixing bowl.

Chop onion and garlic

Put 1 onion, halved, and 2 garlic cloves in the mixing bowl, chop for 5 sec. | level 5 and push down with the spatula.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté without the measuring cup for 2 min. | 120°C | level 1. Then deglaze with 40 g dry white wine.

Cook sauce

Add 200 g Gorgonzola, in pieces, 200 g cream, 1 teaspoon dried herbs, 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon pepper and cook without the measuring cup for 6 min. | 90°C | level 2.

Arrange

Cut the meat into slices, arrange on plates together with tortellini, vegetables and sauce. Serve garnished with thyme.
