Description

This dish is a real classic and super easy to prepare with the Thermomix®! Tender fish fillets, coated in a delicious flour crust, meet a creamy parsley sauce. Of course, there are also potatoes. I have been making this recipe since I was a child and it always tastes great! The preparation is quick, so it is also perfect for after work. If you like, you can also serve a fresh cucumber salad with it.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Fish fillet(s) (Pollock or Pangasius)
  • 1 kg Potato(es)
  • 0.5 l Milk
  • 1 Pck. Parsley (frozen)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • Lemon juice

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Peel 1 kg potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces and place in the steamer basket. Fill 500 ml water into the mixing bowl, insert the steamer basket and cook for 25 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Prepare fish

Season 4 fish fillets (e.g. pollock or pangasius) with some salt, pepper and lemon juice. Then roll the fillets in 2 tbsp flour.

Fry fish

Fry the fish fillets in a pan with some oil until golden brown on both sides. Be careful not to fry the fish for too long so that it does not become dry.

Prepare parsley sauce

Add 500 ml milk, 2 tbsp flour, some salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar to the mixing bowl. Cook for 8 min./90°C/speed 3.

Add parsley

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 2 90 Reverse

Add 1 packet of frozen parsley (or a bunch of fresh parsley) and stir in for 5 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 2.

Serve

Remove the potatoes from the steamer basket and serve together with the fish and parsley sauce.
