Description

With the Thermomix®, you can whip up fine pancakes made from wheat flour, milk, and eggs in no time. This simple and inexpensive recipe for 6 servings is ready in just 30 minutes. The pancakes are suitable as a vegetarian breakfast, a quick dessert, or a sweet main course. Ideal for the whole family and lovers of light cuisine.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 150 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 250 ml Whole milk
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 1 EL Mineral water
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • 5 TL Vegetable oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the batter

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Place 150 g wheat flour Type 405 (or spelt flour Type 630), 1 pinch of salt and 250 ml whole milk (3.5% or 3.8% fat) in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 4 until no lumps remain. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula and repeat.

Add eggs and mineral water

Add 3 eggs (size M or L) and 1 tbsp mineral water (Classic) to the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 sec/speed 3 until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Let the batter rest

Pour the pancake batter into a bowl and let it rest, covered, in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.

Bake the pancakes

Heat a coated pan over medium to high heat. Add 1 tsp vegetable oil (sunflower oil or rapeseed oil) to the hot pan. Pour a ladle of batter (approx. 100-125 ml) into the pan and spread by swirling.

Turn the pancake

Bake the pancake for about 1 minute until the surface is no longer liquid. Turn with a spatula and bake for another 30 seconds.

Keep the pancakes warm

Remove the finished pancake from the pan and keep warm on a plate in the oven at 60 °C. Add a little more oil to the pan for each additional pancake.
