Description

These fine Easter baked goods are a real eye-catcher on any Easter table! I bake them every year and they are always a hit, especially with the children. The dough is quickly prepared in the Thermomix® and the little lambs, rabbits or hens are easy to shape. The scent of fresh cake and lemon fills the whole house - simply wonderful! Dusted with powdered sugar, they not only look pretty, but also taste wonderfully juicy. A perfect recipe for Easter time that is guaranteed to succeed and bring joy.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 250 g Butter
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 5 piece Egg(s)
  • 375 g Flour
  • 0.5 Pck. Lemon peel grated or Citroback
  • 5 tbsp Milk
  • 2.5 tsp Powdered sugar for dusting

Preparation (5 steps)

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 4

Put 250 g butter, 250 g sugar and 1 pack vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./speed 4.

Mix in eggs individually

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 5 eggs individually one after the other to the mixing bowl and mix in each case for 20 sec./speed 3.

Mix in lemon peel, flour, milk

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Speed 4

Put 375 g flour, 0.5 pack lemon peel grated or Citroback and 5 tbsp milk in the mixing bowl and mix for 1 min./speed 4.

Fill dough into molds and bake

Spread the dough on three well-greased and sprinkled with breadcrumbs molds (e.g. lamb, rabbit, hen or rooster). However, only fill the molds to a maximum of 2/3! Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees (convection oven 180 degrees) for about 40 minutes.

Let the figures cool and dust

After baking, carefully remove the figures from the mold and let them cool on a wire rack. Dust thickly with 2.5 tsp powdered sugar.
