Description

These soft lemon fritters are a true explosion of flavor and aroma! Perfect for Carnival or for a delicious snack, these delights are easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. The lemon zest and delicate aroma make them irresistible. I often prepare them for my children and they disappear in the blink of an eye! Try them too, I'm sure you'll love them. A tip? Serve them warm, sprinkled with plenty of powdered sugar. They are so good that one leads to another!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 4 piece eggs
  • 80 g sugar
  • 40 g sunflower seed oil
  • 40 g milk
  • 1 piece lemons _for the zest_
  • 1 fialetta lemon flavor
  • 280 g 00 flour
  • 16 g baking powder
  • powdered sugar
  • peanut seed oil for frying

Preparation (7 steps)

Eggs, sugar and milk in the bowl

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Insert 4 eggs, 80 g of sugar and 40 g of milk into the bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 4.

Addition of oil and lemon zest

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 40 g of sunflower seed oil and the grated zest of 1 lemon to the bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 3.

Lemon flavour

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Add 1 vial of lemon flavor to the bowl. Mix for 5 Sec./Stufe 3.

Gradual addition of flour

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 5

Gradually add 280 g of 00 flour into the bowl. Knead for 2 Min./Stufe 5.

Baking powder

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Add 16 g of baking powder to the bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4.

Frying the fritters

Pour abundant peanut seed oil into a pan and heat it well (about 170°C). Form the fritters with the help of two teaspoons and fry them until golden brown. Drain the fritters with a slotted spoon and place them on a plate with kitchen paper.

Sprinkling of powdered sugar

Transfer the fritters to a serving dish and sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar.
